Description
Rare Takahashi hand carved and painted we think is a “Robin” bird perched on a branch brooch pin. Bird was hand-carved by Yoneguma Takahashi and intricately hand painted by his wife Kiyoka. The back of the pin is signed “KT”. Kiyoka only signed a small portion of her pieces and only her best work were signed Kt. The bird has a orange tone chest, yellow beak, brown back, gray blue and black swirl pattern tail. Bird features Takahashi’s unique push-pull pins and metal bird talons.
