Description
Antique Japanese tooled leather tobacco pouch bag with metal Dragon motif closure front. The Dragon has a rich patina and looks like bronze or could possibly be copper, tested with a magnet it did not adhere to it. This type pouch was made to hang from an obi sash. The Kagamibuta round netsuke has ten belcher style chains with pouch suspending from it. The netsuke is made of celluloid also known as Ivorine with a Dragon center. The purse pouch has various inside compartments (see photo). The inside compartments has a printed/painted designs on suede. The pouch has some paint lose from age and usage see photo.
