Description
Rare Rene Lalique vintage mirrored stamped aluminum and lacquer powder box tin. The aluminum round box has embossed birds of paradise on the top. The box has original labels on the bottom: first label has Poudre Roger Gallet New York Paris Naturelle. On the the smaller label: Net WGT. 1-1/2 oz. The box is also signed “Lalique” on the top inside edge. Inside the box is a small amount of pink powder residue. The box is featured in the book “Aluminum” by Design Carnegie Museum of Art” page 204.
