Description
Vintage “Tortolani” silver plated pewter cast zodiac clamper hinged bracelet. Bracelet features all twelve astrological signs done in high relief. Each symbol is extremely detailed and done in a very ornate manner. Some of the symbols are large and prominent, some small and hidden. Bracelet is hinged style with a push-in style clasp closure. The bracelet is signed inside “Tortolaini”. The bracelet is a book piece shown in books: Marcia Brown’s book, “Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry”, page 225, “Warman’s Jewelry”, 2nd edition by Christie Romero page 190, and “Collectible Costume Jewelry” by Cherri Simmonds.
