Description
Stephen Burrows lavender purple cocoon style versatile wrap vintage cape. This cape features bat-wing style dolman sleeves with a slit at the wrist opening. Fabric feels like silk satin and enough to wrap over the head if desired (see photo). Stephen Burrows was the first African American fashion designer to have won the Coty awards in 1973, 74, and 77. Stephen Burrows was also one of the five American designers to show their clothes with the French couturiers at Versailles in 1973.
